Hello,
I am doing the 3 activity for the Student Blogging Challenge. Here is the task:
Miss W and Mr Davo Devil will be visiting these states and provinces: California, Oregon, Washing
ton, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and back to California. They enjoy visiting national parks and historical places. Where would you suggest they go while in those states and provinces? Suggest a tourist attraction in at least 5 places.
I have never been to one of these countries. As I have mentioned before, I live in Australia! My first tourist attraction… MEXICO!
In Mexico my tourist attraction is Tulum. Tulum is located on the east coast of Yucatán Peninsula. Tulum was once the port of the Mayan city of Coba. It was built 1200 AD (After Jesus Christ’s Death) and the civilisation in Mayan was already being refused, which is why many say it lacks beauty. But, have you seen it. There is not one thing about it that doesn’t lack beauty!

Next is California,
Apart from Songs and Songs written about it, here is a tourist attraction in California:
DISNEYLAND! I don’t think that Miss W and Mr Davo Devil will be to excited to visit this tourist attraction! But why not. If you aren’t sure, Disneyland is a theme park. It has many rides, stores, cafes and great, wonderful things! Disneyland features in Paris, Tokyo and other cities as well. Disneyland is a much loved tourist attraction and not just for children! Doesn’t it look like fun?

Moving on too… OHIO!
Well this was quite a difficult one. But I have found a strange tourist attraction that I think would be very fun to visit! Here it is… THE AMERICAN SIGN MUSEUM! Even though it is American it is still situated in Ohio! It is a mueseum of strange, funny and just plain weird sign that belongs in America. Tod Swormstedt, is the fonder of this museum. I think that it is such a great, creative idea! Here is a picture of a sign or two!
Wow, a sign museum, disneyland and the amazing Tulum! Now on to New York!
I am going to do something that is familiar to all of us, no it isn’t the stature of Liberty and no it isn’t central park, it is…
The Empire State Building.
The Empire State Building is 81 years old. It was officially opened on May 1, 1931 when President Hoover pressed a button in Washington, D.C. creating the top of the Empire State Building to light up with white lights. The Empire State Building is located on 34th Street and Fifth Avenue and is visible from many places in New York City. There are is a song about it as well! Do you want to see a picture of this tall building. Well, here it is…
Now, onto the last state, Pennsylvania. I know this is really bad, but I have only just discovered this state lately! I have actually found it through visiting other peoples blogs! So here is a tourist attraciotn…
This one is quite funny! It is actually two but to do with the same thing! It is BURGERS! This one is the worlds largest burger! Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub enjoys making burgers bigger than your head, all the way up to the insane 123-pounder. I would need to go for a run for about 6 hours to burn that off if I could even fit it in my tummy! The next one is…
The Big Mac Museum. Near its birthplace, McDonald’s remembers their first megaburger with a museum and a statue. This is quite cool and I think that as soon as I walked through this I would be craving some McDonald’s chips!

So there it is! 5 tourist attractions in Mexico, California, Ohio, New York and of course Pennsylvania! So there you have it! Enjoy your holiday Miss W and Mr Davo Devil, I hope you have a great time!
